You don't need to format the drive to change to NTFS. If you're running Windows 2000 or XP, just issue this command in a 'DOS box':

convert c: /fs:ntfs

Of course, substitute C: for whichever drive it is that you want to convert. Be aware that this is a one way procedure; you can't revert to FAT32 without re-formatting.

can't fully understand what you're saying

you can do an online virus scan at antivirus.com

take the online scan option and follow the directions

not sure what you're trying to say before that
invest in a hardware-router and a good firewall/anti-virus software to stop the proliferation of viruses

as for profiles/users...they only take up resources for the logged -in profile/user... unless you are using "fast-user-switching" and "secondary logon", then the last profile/user 'hangs' in memory while the current profile/user is using the pc

to solve this just do a complete log off then log in as the other profile/user
first of all get rid of those viruses run a complete system scan and kill the pests do it in safe mode if you have to (probably the best way anyhow) second you don't have to format to convert to ntfs from fat just click start %26gt;run type cmd then in the command window type help convert it'll give you the instructions on how to change file system without a format as for the hang you mentioned it's more than likely a virus or spyware causing that
