Have you noticed when the sun goes through active sunspot activity (typically in fall and spring) is when we notice that a lot of people get sick with flus, etc? Could this be due to the sun's activity causing the turning "on" of inactive viruses, etc? Also, the magnetic effect of the solar sunflare activity and sunspot activity may be related as well as not much is known about the connection between the magnetic activity of the sun and the planet and solar system. Also hurricane, earthquake activity all effected by solar active periods. Isnt time we investigate this before the next disaster happens? What is the sun "saying" when it goes through these active periods? In other words what is really going on with the sun on a physics level (I have a theory). ty

The sun is a variable star over an 11 year period, resulting in increased sunspots on that timescale which cause mainly electromagnetic interference. The other effects are due to weather, climate, and seasons, all attributable to the earth's spin and axial tilt, not the sun.
