Say... if you upload a picture (JPG) and it has a virus attached on it, then you upload it on a picture hosting site like Photobucket...
Would it still have a virus on it?
Like if you view the picture and save it would the virus be transfered to your computer..?
`Coz like I have a virus on this computer and I'm scared that the virus may have attached to one of my picture files and I would like to transfer them to a different computer.. without using a memory stick and such because that is like directly.. transferring.. the actual.. file.. ?:D
Thank you for helping :D
Photobucket and viruses..?symantic
sorry to say this but im sure it still will have the virus! if your virus protection isnt working buy norton360
Photobucket and viruses..?viruses
It's very unlikely you can transfer a virus via an image JPG file. I suggest that you pick up a free online virus scanner and let it check your HDD. This is the resource with descriptions: http://hubpages.com/hub/Top-Free-Online-...
Don't panic - there's nothing serious as per your description ;)
No the picture would'nt have a virus attached to it comeing from Photobucket.
I think you should get rid of that virus because it just takes a few mimutes and it wont cost you a cent. Just dont use Norton antivirus because it's a biger problem than the virus.
Good luck
I don't think it will still have a virus on it, but to be honest I'm not really sure never tried it.
