Why does my internet browser keep freezing up. I have removed all spyware and scanned it it for viruses and there aren't any.

Clear your cookies and cache.

It's more likely an issue with your connection. Maybe there are too many programs trying to use your line, or there are more than your own computer using the same broadband pipe.

Try a different browser first to see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, it might be time to roll back IE and then update it again from scratch.

If it does, you'll have to investigate the above.

Probably had some registry values messed up by the spyware. Try removing and reloading the browser program and see if that fixes the problem. I had to reformat my computer recently for a similar problem.

When you run this program, look for anything that starts with BHO (Browser Helper Object) and remove what is not necessary. A good rule of thumb: If it doesn't have a file name or has a lack of info, get rid of it. Now be careful!!
