Can you get the same viruses from Proxy servers?

if a website has a virus and you visit the website with a proxy server will you still get the virus?

If you don't know that question this question can help me answer it...

When someone puts a virus on a website is it put on the URL, or the web page itself? if it the URL then i won't get the virus through proxy. and if it is put on the page itself then i will get the virus.

yes. you can still catch the virus using a proxy. the creeps who create virus's are good at what they do. just make sure you have your anti virus %26 spyware tools up to date. good luck surfing.
