Since the Xbox 360 is made by microsoft does that mean downloads may cause viruses?

Just wondering since windows based pc's all get viruses

Since the Xbox 360 is made by microsoft does that mean downloads may cause viruses?norton 360

At the moment no they can not, there is no unsigned software that is running on microsoft server for xbl, when software modification for the 360 (dashboard, kennel version) comes to opensource there is no telling what can be developed, there are 360s running linux but not much development is going on there and they dont connect to xbl during lunix sessions.

quite simply no, the sofware wouldnt be suceptable to viruses, and if it did microsoft updates for it would not contain them and would be very hard to hack
No. Xbox can't get viruses.
It can if the infected files are on the Microsoft update servers and their anti-virus software does not catch it especially if is a new virus designed to infect the 360 specifically. Then of course Microsoft will make you pay for them to remove the virus just like they make you pay for just about everything else that should be free like on-line play and new content downloads. Or they will make you bring in your 360 for 3 months to fix it so you can't use your xbox and not give you much back for your time lost.
Yeah, I believe there may have been reports, but pc's other than Windows get viruses too, you know
what? no. microsoft updates on your xbox are never going to contain viruses.
no lol microsoft uploads them and makes sure it doesn't get viruses
