My dog likes to eat human feces when he can find it. Are human viruses/bacteria transferable to cani

He generally shows no problems afterwards but since he found his latest bunch 2 days ago he has had diareha. He eats as much as he can before i can stop him. It was just a bit this time. I wonder if human viruses such as HIV or hep A,B,C can be transfered to dogs this way. Or, if there is anything else I should worry about or vaccinate him for.

Um, I can't get past how your dog is finding human feces- on a regular basis, evidently. How?

ADD: Tony Dearest- I, too, take my dogs out OFTEN- we go to agility trials, obedience trials, they go to work with me, we walk through the neighborhood, etc.- I can honestly say that I have NEVER seen human feces out on hiking trails, sidewalkes, etc.

dont let him eat it, thats gross also.
I wouldn't like to live in your house..
What? How the heck would they find human feces... Do you have an open septic tank?
grossssssssssssssssssss
Where in the world does he find human feces????

Edit "Tony Dearest" I, too, take my dogs outside, everyday actually, and I can honestly say there is NO human feces just laying around my neighborhood. So I think my question as to where the dog is finding human poo is legitimate.
I'm not sure about viruses, but I would be worried about worms. As gross as it is many humans have worms, and don't know about it. Make sure you worm your dog.
Do tell me, do you leave this around the house? HOW would he get a hold of it????
how does he find human feces? don't people go in toilets?
