What happens in "The Hot Zone" by Richard Preston, and what are characteristics of viruses

I had to read "The Hot Zone" for school. But then, Spring Break came around, and I totally forgot everything that happened in the book. Even worse, I lost the book, so I can't reread it. All I remember is that some guy named Charles Monet caught Ebola and died, and some lady worked with it. Can somebody please give me a semi-detailed summary of the book (bold or underline the important info) and some characteristics of all of the viruses? I would really appreciate it, especially since I have a test in a couple of days. Thanks!!
